Margaret Catwood is a housecat belonging to Lunar Transfer Station Tacoma Station Administrator E.V. St. James. Her name, an obvious pun on Margaret Atwood, is only revealed on a status board in Engineering, as she's only identified by the Venturis Corporation ARdware as "Housecat: Crewmember Companion Animal".

While Margaret Catwood is usually only seen in AR, meaning special features such as colors, breed, etc. aren't depicted, a photo of her can be found in E.V.'s bunk, revealing what she looks like. The photo is actually that of Tacoma artist Kate Craig's cat Tuco, who passed away during Tacoma's development. The photo was originally intended as a placeholder, with Margaret Catwood not even existing at the time it was put into the game. When Margaret Catwood was created, the image stuck and was left in to be a photo of E.V.'s cat.
